School talks

Posted:January 19, 2023

The With Youth team have recently been going into schools to talk to young people about the importance of mental health and how our service can support them. We have identified that some common worries for children & young people are transitions/changes, exam stress, school avoidance and anxiety. We aim to equip young people with the skills needed to self-manage their mental health and build their confidence through our many different services.

If you are reading this and feel like you need support with your mental health and wellbeing, then click the ‘talk with us’ button to reach out to us.

We have been actively seeking out opportunities to speak to young people directly at school assemblies or events. If you would like us to speak at your school assembly, please feel free to get in contact at withyouth@hertsmindnetwork.org.
