How to refer for Counselling
Young people can ask for counselling themselves. Parents, carers, or professionals can also refer a child or young person, but only with their permission.
To get counselling with us, please fill out our online referral form by clicking the button below. Once we receive it, we will contact you as soon as possible.
If our counselling service is right for you or your child, we will arrange an assessment meeting. This is a longer session than usual and can be online or in person. In this meeting, you will talk to a counsellor about what support you need. Parents or carers may also be involved, depending on the young person’s age and needs.
Counselling takes place at the same time each week, either one-to-one or in a group. We will discuss the details and your commitment to attending during your assessment.
If you have any questions, please email us at: cypcounselling@hertsmindnetwork.org or call us on 0208 189 8400 (Option 1).
